Print Methods
We are hands on and we love it.
Every piece of paper that leaves our studio has run through our hands with the help of some wonderful production tools and machinery. We are the proud owners of 3 letterpress machines, a hot stamp press, and an Epson Professional that work hard for us on a daily basis. They churn out everything from mass produced greeting cards, to hand lettered wedding invitations, to one-of-a-kind art prints. We cut, score and fold, hole drill, edge-paint, corner-round, and duplex all of our papers in-house.
We create. Do you? Lets put your vision on paper. If you have a business card design or created your own invitation artwork, send it over! We celebrate your talent and offer designer pricing. Want to know more? Tell us about your project and request our art submission guidelines here.
Letterpress
is timeless.
Letterpress is a true art form. Most of these treasured machines are found, salvaged or refurbished and welcomed back into the modern print world. They are mesmerizing to watch and create beautiful, textural prints. Each print is made with a form – we use photopolymer plates – that is covered with ink and pressed into each piece of paper. The end result is a deep impression into the paper. With letterpress, the paper possibilities are endless – cork, wood, coaster stock, cloth, ultra-thick paper or board.
Foil
is modern.
Foil is the shiny icing on the cake. Foil prints are created when a hot metal plate strikes specialized foil and transfers the form onto paper. Like letterpress, foil can make an impression in the paper. Instead of ink, the heat transfers an opaque color that can be bright metallic or densely matte. Foil is the perfect accent!
Digital
is versatile.
If you like color, digital is for you. Created on a state-of-the-art wide format Epson Stylus Photo printer, our digital prints are vibrant and cost effective. Digital is perfect for full color images and photos, as well as accent pieces for invitation suites. The paper has weight limitations, but that paper is budget friendly.
